I think we need a deep breath or two here. He's the manager of a f**ked club, let's not forget that. A club with no money, poorly advised, institutionally timid, risk averse, rudderless and in a devil division.

I think he's bought ok. Better than Grant, better than Worthington (post promotion), better than Hamilton.

I think we've played better in games under Roeder than we EVER played under Grant, under Hamilton, under Worthington (post relegation).

He has better experience as a manager than Grant (obviously), than Worthington, than Hamilton.

I think we're in a real mess - but this is a virulent mess, from top to bottom, the club is festering, rotten, sinking and stinking. Is Roeder the once in a generation answer to our prayers? Of course not. But on the other hand, will lancing this one boil resurrect the pus-ridden corpse ? Of course it f**king won't.

He's not a bad manager and our problems run far deeper. Ipswich and QPR have money to throw at players and their manager get the stick that comes with expectation. What expectation can we have of Roeder? The way this club is, survival and nothing more. So right now he's just about breaking even. Nothing more, nothing less.

He doesn't deserve to have us all walk away from him on that basis. Trying to be fair, trying to weigh it ALL up, he still has my support.
