it's all going predictably pear-shaped.
I don't think anyone who didn't that pile of steaming crap can really offer too much to the Roeder in/out debate. You had to be there to see how royally f**ked we are. And how Roeder was powerless to do anything about it. Everything he tried actually made us worse, and that was some achievement after the dullest opening 10 minutes to a game ever.
I'm afraid if he stays we will go down. I've thought that for a while but today has convinced me that he will take us down. I know we can't afford to sack him, but we can't afford not to.
We have a shell of a squad, one or two senior players who clearly don't want to play for him (Russell for sure after today's half-hearted effort), a fanbase who have largely turned on him and three or four players off in January (loans plus rumours of Croft, Bell and Russell).
We're still playing better than under Grant, but then I've never a team play as badly as we did under Grant. But just because Roeder is better than the worst manager ever in our history doesn't mean he's any good.
