In that if Roeder hadn't have come in, we might have been worse off.

For the financial position this club is in, the fact that the very quick decline we were in under Grant has eased off, I'm currently happy to be in no worse a position than last year. The squad is arguably better than it was, despite the results and what Roeder has done is prevent the team falling apart and plugged the gaps temporarily with loans. The board need to give him money to play with, he hasn't spent much - his permanent signings are good quality and hopefully in January we will have more. Nobody is going to turn the club around in a season, from what it was and as disappointed in our position as I am, I think Roeder is making slow progress, no matter how slow it is.
