memory plays tricks

In my head, he was horizontal at shoulder height when he hit that: when I saw it again on the Best Goals video I was surprised.

Similarly, my fave goal: I remember that goal as clear as day, but when they made the video they seem to have edited in a bit of a goalmouth scramble which (in my head) NEVER HAPPENED.

In my head, the ball came across, Suggs nodded it, and in it went. So that IS what happened, and f**k reality.
