RE fleck, the lack of fleck like characters shows what's lacking in this modern game

There simply are no characters like him left now.
Plus, remember the banter he used to have with fans.
They ALL gave him stick, he always gave it back, and they always loved it (was almost pantomime).

Could he do that now? Nope.
These days far far too many football fans believe its our 'right' to throw the most foul abuse at these people, and if the react at all then god help them. Everyone jumps on their high horse and gets all offended. We seem to have lost the ability to take a joke (although its not always taht bad at city).

I love to see a player give a little back, admittedly there's a right way to do it, but i still laugh at oppo keepers taking the piss and stuff.
