AJ did not endear himself because he went down quicker than a whore in the Amsterdam red light district. Yes, one or more of them might have been legit, but you take the decision and move on. It was particularly galling therefore to have to accept the decision given for that dreadfully outrageous dive that was the least valid of all the shouts. And it wasn't just against us.

I think another reason that we've felt particularly hard done by is that Huckerby has acquired a similar reputation, even though in his time with us he appears to me to have worked very hard at staying on his feet (not that he might not have made the most of some slight contact from time to time). We've been denied many valid decisions over the last two years because of that suspicion, yet AJ's outrageous ones still seem to work. We're jealous, of course.
