Yep, that's chefs for you.

I've worked in numerous kitchens, and without exception all of the head chefs were f**king tonto hatstand.

And mostly balls deep in one or other of the waitresses. Or waiters. They'll take what they can get, mostly. Literally, in many cases: easily 75% of the head chefs I've worked for have been serious substance fiends - something to do with the super long hours I think.
