Hello, first time poster. I went last night, and I have a question

I was in a pub near the ground, enjoying a pint before the match, when a group of Watford fans came over and poured their drinks over me

I was told I deserved it, and I should leave if I don't like it

On the way to the ground I saw a man in a suit being verbally abused by a Watford fan, and he looked a bit startled by what was happening

Is this normal behaviour at football matches? It's been a few years since I've been to a game as I've been working abroad
