I find it encouraging that Roeder (and his scouting network) are identifying players like Clingan, Stefanovic, Patty, Hoolahan, Bell and are persuading them to join - they aren't glamorous signings but it's players of this ilk that'll form the basis of a competative side.

The positive comments regarding Easton further down the board made me smile. He was a good squad player that made sense for the team at the time. Got slagged off for all the things he couldn't do at the time, but is now looked back on fondly for the things he could do.

We're all fickle fans I s'pose.
