He inherited a shambles of a squad. He's changed as much of it as he can get away with but this season will only be a consolidation - hopefully pick up solid additions to the squad here and there and shift reliance away from the temporary members of the squad towards the permanent members.

We also have no money.

Frankly, six wins in that context is good enough. I'd love the record to be better, I hope it will be, but I think that to expect more than that is unrealistic.
