this is the fickle nature of football fans

All season I've said we seem quite a decent team, playing nice stuff but just not well enough to score enough goals. We've at no point looked dreadful (in games I've been to) but we're clearly not going to get near the play offs. As pants has been saying, it's a consolidation season so no point getting carried away over a win or a loss imo. Next season is the one where it matters.
