i am a DIY genius

i once made a shoe rack that i had to remove part of a wall to fit in due to a measuring up mishap. she still takes the piss despite it being about 15 years ago. I am unable to drill a hole in the wall commensurate with the diameter or length of a rawplug and despite measuring "ever so carefully" the holes never marry up with the object that i am trying to afix to the wall. i am a total f**king DIY disaster situation. i've got s**t loads of power tools though.
