hmmm that's a bit of a glory hunters mentality tho

expecting good performances.

we all know what football is, and it's pretty pointless beating yourself up over a decision to watch them play when they don't live up to expectations. the beauty of the game is that it can surprise us and makes us value the great performances even more. we all know few players really care what the fans think but no reason not to bother.
