the trains run way better than a few years ago

when there were often delays. also, you won't get charged more for delays because you can explain to the conductor about a delay and he will often know about it anyway. no need to look for the most pessimistic outlook on everything. i've had to stay at gatwick overnight cos of missing a connection. s**t happens.
