Dilemma - ipswich game

I have a bit of a dilemma.

I was planning on watching the game on the telly in an 'english pub' out here. Unfortunately, I don't know of any City fans here but I do 'know' a guy (I see him in there some Sunday afternoons) who will be in there, but he is a Scummer.

Mademoiselle Shoddy has just come home and told me that I have been invited to a right posh wine tasting at a nice chateau by my mother-in-law this Sunday afternoon, and it is a a once in a lifetime opportunity, bla bla, she would be disapointed, bla bla.......

Do I watch the football with a Scummer (I couldn't bear it if the worst happened), or do I go drink plenty of claret and eat some proper nice nosh?
