Have any of you bought a cheap dinner suit? (Tescos, Asdas, Primarks,etc.)

Got a couple of formal do's coming up but don't really want to spend too much if I can help it.

I know I *should* buy something good as it will potentially last for years but now is not a good time money wise for me..
