FA youth cup game

A somewhat surreal experience as a big City team totally dominated a team of dwarfs, it was like the shirts had got switched.

The game report is on the EDP. A report that includes "I said to the lads in the dressing room that they can enjoy the fact that their in the FA Youth Cup after Christmas....." Now I have come used to are/our, their/there and your/ you are having all sorts of random meanings on here, but you might think that Archant could manage better.

Declan Rudd looked confident but had no saves to make.

Tom Adeyemi got through a lot of midfield grinding.

Dario Dumic continues to impress at centre back but was overshadowed by David Stephens who looked the best player on the pitch by a country mile.

He has a build that will have Rick Waghorn in ecstacy, not unlike Tom Huddlestone, he has pace and is a good mover, good passer, positionally perfect and won everything in the air, though he was playing against strikers who would look up to Paul McVeigh.

The rest don't impress me much.

Season tickets don't count for these so it was ?4 to get in.
