Best bet, find a PC you want at a high street retailer

doesn't matter which one, even PC World will do. Then find the cheapest price you can on-line for it. Then go into the high street retailer and get them to match the price.

Do all the research yourself - not in the shops. The assistants will very either not know the answers or just make s**t up.
