i do work in travel

but I do not have a passport , I have travelled a bit when i was younger - Russia , South Africa , Morocco

I have no inclination to travel abroad at all , I really cannot see the point of flying for 11 hours to Bangkok or phuket or somewhere and then spending a couple of weeks before flying back again

I had a holiday this year in North Wales and it was okay , weather was awful , but I was home in 7 hours , I could converse with the locals ( to a point ) , I could understand road signs etc and when my daughter was ill , we went to the doctors and could get the diagnosis and medicine without any problem - had I been abroad what would I have done with a severely ill two year old and how would I have understood any medical staff

PErhaps it is that fear , my kids abroad that puts me off , I just have no wish to travel abroad anymore
