anyway, Yesty I had some fishernchips from the chippy on dareham rud i was having a chat with the blokey when he told me that he had {as he called it} "one of them gays in the shop the other night" he promptly added that "not literally, he wuz on that side of the counter" To my credit, I demurred from asking if he had washed his hands since. Anyway apparently mr chippy had the temerity to serve a customer who had arrived after the gay man had placed his order. The gay fellow accused Mr Chippy of blatant Homophobia and discrimination and people of "his generation" were all the same! Mr chippy expalined that he was merely allowing the gay fellers Plaice do drain off as apparently Plaice takes a good 3 minutes to drain away most of the cholesterol packed dripping. Unconvinced by the facts, the gay feller flounced off to the Rozzers and filed a formal complaint and Mr Plod paid Mr Chippy a visit the next day ("a friendly informal caution Sir"). The following day a letter (two full pages of A4) from Mr Gay Feller turned up asking for a full refund of the price of the Plaice and chips and a goodwill payment for his damaged feelings. Mr Chips shop bloke was of the opinion that the Gay feller was "orf his bleedin' trolley".
