No doubt at all

I normally wouldn't bother because fora like this do not lend themselves to serious debate (and that's OK, most of life doesn't!).

But there is absolutely no doubt, none at all, that Jesus actually existed. Whether he was the Son of God, with all attendant consequences, as is claimed in the Gospels is another matter, of course. But as to whether he EXISTED? No doubt at all. He's even mentioned by Tacitus - I clearly remembering reading that bit of Tacitus at school and discovering to my amazement that Jesus was a real person with historical existence.
