I used to work in a jewellery shop called Avatar. It was rubbish.

It was run by an alcoholic and a paranoid schizophrenic. The latter threatened to call the police when a 14-year-old customer asked for a refund on a ?6 ring. In other town in the world they'd have both starved to death but in Brighton, they're making a hefty profit. Happy days.
