What about the Supporters Consultative Group?

Aren't they supposed to represent us? If so, why are they so quiet? I know they're not democratically elected by us (practically hand-picked by the Club) and are party to information not for the ears of the 'ordinary' fan, but surely they should be telling us what's going on behind the scenes to get us out of this mess?
