Agree with you about the loans, though. I know the Archibald-Henville thing didn't set us back too much financially, but Roeder has been very bullish in advocating his loan policy, and it doesn't really inspire much confidence if we're loaning players on the basis that "Spurs said he's good" and he then proves incapable of playing, even when we've got no centre-backs.
