Did a quick look around and couldnt find anything similar for under 500.

Do you think it's balanced? I havent gone Vista as i'd need more RAM, and I havent gone mad on getting a Quad Core (as research tells me there isnt really much software out there that warrants quad core). I have gone for the quickest components I can afford (processors, quick RAM for example), decided that a graphics card was worth it, but not a dedicated soundcard.

Dont think there are any weak links there, and if I decide to upgrade to Windows 7 + 4GB RAM the rest of the components should be more than man enough to cope? The only thing i did wonder about was a bigger power supply and more efficient cooling unit - but i figured they would be luxuries i could add later when I am a bit more affluent. What do you think?
