See that the BBC Gossip has Hull keeper Boaz Myhill as "?8 million rated" this morning and that one of the Milan clubs is amongst the posse chasing his signature.
?8 Million! FFS!!
What would his value be if they had missed out on promotion last season and we mid to upper table in the CCC at the moment, about 10% of that I reckon! Does elevation to the Prem make that much of a difference?
Seriously, if Hull were offered that, they should bite the hand, arm, whole body off, of any club waving that sort of money at them. Especially when a keeper like Lee Grant is shuffling between clubs on loan and who probably would cost even less that that ?800k to buy, and who is certainly no worse a keeper than Myhill.
Or is Myhill that good?
If he is worth that, and its thought a good valuation, then, if come January we took ?1 Million for Marshall and tried to look pleased about it, well....mind you, he'll have a silly release clause in his contract, won't he?
