is hardly the point
The point is that the Royal family could have f**ked off somewhere very very safe form bombing, like the Highlands or even Canada (and indeed were urged by politicians to do just that). They refused to do so. That was admirable.
Even if they were in Windsor Castle (which I'm not sure they were - "The King did much to endear himself to the British public during the Second World War. He insisted on remaining in Buckingham Palace during the Blitz while the Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret were sent to Windsor Castle" - User Posted Link ) that was very much within range of the German bombers and a far more dangerous option than the safe havens open to them
