and by not being 'politically correct' you set yourself up as someone who has a desire to attack those protected by the political correctness veil. That is, etnic minorities, those who do not fit in with your idea of sexual correctness, the disabled, in fact any minority you feel like having a dig at. What you fail to realise is that it was because of people like you that political correctness was started in the first place.
It has worked, to. But there is obviously still a fair way to go.
