Right, if i'm buying a PC with no OS, and then buying XP OEM disc, should I

Get the supplier to partition the hard drive? Why should I get him do to that? How do I make sure the OS is installed in that partition when I load it?

Is it even worth it?

You should be able to partition the hard drive how you want when you install the OS.
