note to the terminally stupid:

Please invest in our football club. It'll be a really good investment. Honest. We have loads of great fans here who only ever want to see us win games and will get behind the team no matter when times get tough. Please provide us with a bottomless purse of monies as well so we can keep replacing all the players as soon as they misplace thier first pass and to pay off all the managers which should be sacked after one season.

You know it makes sense.
