One other thing that I reckon is an insight into Capello

and might explain why things are going well...

Players have said there's more 'discipline' around England at the moment. I thought an example of that was when Defoe, after being subbed, re-appeared to watch the rest of the game with the bench - scrubbed and wearing a suit and tie.

I'm not sure that would have happened under Maclaren. (Particularly with Defoe....)

Felt to me like an indication of the kind of disciplune and respect which FC has got going there at the moment....
