Manager Holiday on CM97-98 was my favourite.

Put Mr Shit-Head (I was 16 by then, and allowed to call him that) in charge of Everton or Leeds or someone, put in really high bids for whoever you wanted to sell (Milligan, Broughton, Simpson, Bradshaw, Newman, Segura, Grant, Llewellyn - the list just went on and on!), sell the players and then send him on holiday until his services were required again.

It had the added bonus of making whatever club he didn't turn up to manage become absolute toilet. Joy.
