I liked the small pool of foreign players on Championship Manager '93.

My favourite trick was to manage Norwich, and put Mr Poo-Head (or similar) as Man Utd manager, and then sign Gerhard Rodax from Austria for Utd (as he wouldn't join Norwich), fine him every week for no apparent reason, and then sell him to Norwich for a vastly reduced fee.

Which Utd would then , bizarrely, signing Jason Minett.
