Was thinking the other week, how great it would be, if the bbc bought a team

and set it up

In the early stages, they'd show the matches on bbc3, and you can join the club whenever you wanted. Some money would be available through the license payer, and some would be from whoever wanted to support the team and contribute. ie a pound a month

Everyone could be involved in a voting system. By the time the team or the idea was massive, they could play at wembley

It would give the bbc the rights to show their own games possibly (negoitiate with sky depending on how big they are)

That way, the whole country could have a club team as well as england to get involved in

Probably never happen, but it would be the simplest idea in it's infancy, and would be an easy way of staying involved

Loads of scope for it working
