New Heroes..... or just 1 maybe?

Ever since I have been a City fan, (1988 at the age of 5) there has always been a shining light.. a hero if you wish, a player that regardless of how poor the team was offered a bit of hope to the fans, a player that you thought maybe if he is playing we have a chance. A player that excited the fans and made the entrance fee worth while.

Going back over the years, Fleck, Gordon, Gunn, Fox, Eadie, Bellamy, Roberts, Huckerby.. to name a few.

Now I know one player does not make a team, but nowadays I just do not see any player of the current crop coming close to this status. Even in the darkest days I can remember pre this/last season, the Hamilton era, we had Bellamy.

If I was a youngster now and I wanted a Norwich shirt and wanted my favorite player on the back just who would they choose? I feel distanced from the current squad of players and would love for a glimmer of hope to appear but sadly I just seem a sea of strangers......
