Roeder

When I heard he'd got the Norwich job, I was slightly under-whelmed. His career will always be defined and remembered for getting West Ham relegated. People on here when that happened laughed at that, but the situation we find ourselves in is no laughing matter. I distinctly remember people on here hoping that Roeder would never be Norwich manager.

The thing that worried me about Roeder was that he'd do at Norwich what he has done elsewhere: have a decent first six months in charge, then fail etc. During pre-season, I don't think anyone really could face thinking about Roeder failing as he had done a bloody good job at keeping the club up and felt it would be unfair to think of him failing. Now, I feel, the Roeder syndrome is probably starting to kick in.

I'm not anti-Glenn Roeder yet but I feel I'm starting to go that way. If we lost to Forest next week (a game which we have to win because if we don't in less than 2 weeks time we could easily end up where they are at the moment) my patience will be severely tested. Particularly if we throw away another three points.
