and the susbstitution of Fotheringham was Roeder's one plus point - keep him on and the atmosphere would have turned frankly mutinous.

I suppose the probleme for Roeder was that despite making no personnel or tactical changes at the break - following a first half in which we were the better side - we were 3-1 down after 47 minutes. Bizarre. I'm not surprised we fell apart after that. It came out of nowhere.
