What do you want them to say?

They're not stupid, contrary to what most people seem to believe. But what, exactly, are they supposed to say which won't be ripped to shreds as either over-optimisitic or defeatist?

Oh right, they can just hand the club over to someone who is capable of fulfilling the legal requirements of a takeover as well refinancing the debt ad funding the team. Because those people are 10 a penny. And naturally, completely guarantee's success.
