First of all, I understand why you feel like this, it's an acculmulation

of years and years steadilly going no where. So the only form of progress that can bury or heal that, is instant connection in a squad, or like a couple have said, a Iwan or Malky to drive the dressing room on

Going through what you've said though

You seem to think we are going in the right direction, whats the evidence?

I think to what is available resource wise, Roeder is making progress. When there's little else he can do, it's quite commendable that he can (sometimes can't publically), hold it together and still get on with the job

- We have the weakest squad I can remember for a long long time (players owned)

Can see what you're saying, but can also see the small progress that's been made on the players owned too (stef, clingan, bell, and although a shame, hoolihan were good shrewd buys)

- We have no playing assets to sell

Slightly ott, I think we could get a decent price on a few players

- We have no money and mounting debt

Yeah fair point, but you did assume it was 30m the other week, which was a huge over reaction. I'm not saying 19m is good, but in the negativity, plucking random figures out of the air, letting a couple of months go by and coming up with 30m, isn't the best rational thinking I've ever heard

- We have a manger who has upset the fans with his arrogance

I guess so. He has apologised too, whether that is worth anything to anyone, maybe just a tool to have a go at him if he didn't ie "the very least he could do is apologise, and he can't do that" etc etc

I'm guessing, when the pressure is on him, and he's got so little to work with, all his efforts go on the team. When he's confronted by anyone who doesn't know anything about him, what goes on on the inside, and hasn't had a job in football, but are pointing the finger at him, then I guess that's where you see reacting. It wasn't appropriate, and it doesn't help, but in a selfish way, in the heat of the moment, or in general, none of it helps him either, and he lashes out in defence. I won't begrudge him that with the trouble we have here. I certainly am not going hold it against him (Worthington had a bash at the fans here in much better times with money to spend, but it wasn't held against him, and at the time the results weren't perfect)

- Our youth system is a joke

Yep, I agree with that. But that ones going to take a while. Roeder can't do anything about the ones lost. All he can do is clearout the rubbish and revamp it, but that means working hard on the 12-14 year olds which will be the ones in 3-5 years time signing pro.

Not a chance in a year that it can produce something from Glenns actions

- We are in a relegation battle for the THIRD year running and this season seems to be no better than the previous two.

I think to be fair, that's looking the other way too. Yes we're down there, but we're steadilly getting points, and we're not bottom on 8 points like we were last season

People are saying Roeders miraculous run can't happen cos he flucked it. He didn't, he actually mirrored worthingtons loans without the resources to buy any of them, hence the run was good. When the quality went back, or couldn't be signed (taylor, chedders couldn't be bought for this season) then we slipped back to where we were

For Worthington, Huckerby was bought and the momentum carried on, and did so with Leon and Svenny arriving too, as well as good loan spells from Cooper harper and crouch

I won't hold it against Roeder when he and we all wanted Taylor, and we miss him despite some good signings at the back

But apart from that things are great

They're not, but under the circumstances, I think in year, Roeder holds a knackered ship in rough waters pretty well
