I really do think..

and I'm as guilty as most..that you do arrive with pre-conceptions, and so your view is accordingly influenced. If you've decided, for example, that Hughes is 73% s**t, then he's going to have to do something exceptional to move you from that mindset because you can't constantly monitor..The reverse applies- love a player and they have to be really really bad for you to decide that they had a 28.3% poor performance (ref note XXL Gary Holt 2000-2205)
