Scott Weiland was only ever any good when he was still on the horse. Velvet Revolver are the very worst kind of rock 'n' roll drug casualties: they've seen the light and are now evangenical. I was never a Guns and Roses fan though, so I'm hardly likely to enjoy them, no matter how much I like Stone Temple Pilots
