He's loudly negative and gets very wound up by people he thinks are being Polly-Anna-ish, resulting in exchanegs of insults.

You think he's over the top and out of order

Result = conflict and given the personalities involved, conflict = a lot of name calling and sniping and satellite/spin-off conflicts about what was or wasn't said which no-one else can follow and which no-one else cares about
