That Worthy forever and ever coming out with post match comments about "energy" and "committment" and "effort" is getting a bit alarming?
Is that all he knows about, is that all he preaches in training and pre-match?
Can you imagine Worthy inheriting a Norwich squad with Ian Crook in it, he'd never play a game! Victor Segura would have been an ever present under Worthy, but players like Crook, or David Phillips even, wouldn't have got a look in!
Sod training if all they do is "run and battle", no wonder Bentley kicked the ball away, he probably didn't know what the funny round plastic thing was!
When is the manager going to talk about "quality" and "skill" and "goals" rather than the other stuff?
Does he go home at night, have a bit of supper and say to Mrs Worthy "...great effort with the supper dear, lots of energy in the pasta, and the sauce ran and ran and ran, you were committed, the kitchen was committed, and I'm pleased with the results..."
-and, of course, shes not allowed to use the new ?500 Expresso machine, Worthy prefers the a good old reliable and hard working kettle and boling water approach...
