To be honest I don't like my team playing in this league. I don't like getting beat every week to teams that have got highly paid strikers who are not good enough to play at a higher level. We have been more than a match for most teams in defence and midfield but scoring goals with the current strikers has proved to be a problem. And I hope we do not waste good money on journeymen whose wages will only cause unrest in the exsisting squad (Leroy Lita!). Even then there is no guarantee that they would make a difference.
The Premiership is one step too far for most Championship teams.
Derby County and Reading have both failed to step up.
Hopefully we can turn over some more of the 'big teams'. Coventry and Derby was a good start and another big name team like Southampton gets a taste of lower league football.
