Lump hammers are one of the best type of hammers you can get.

The amount of people you see on campsites WITHOUT a mallet or a lump hammer is unbelievable.

Watch them as they 'bend' their pegs into the top 3mm of the hard ground. Walk over with your hammer belt on containing six or seven different types of hammer and say "pop over for a cuppa once you've bent all those pegs into the top 3mm of the ground"
