I think the best thing to learn from yesterday is to not give up no matter what

and from saturday to today, too many had given up and thrown the towel in, even though they all knew where we were when Roeder first took over

If anyone genuinely wonders how difficult it is to manage a football team, then they should put themselves in Roeders shoes leading up to yesterdays game

Teetering on the bottom 3, fans starting the "I've been going 40 years and it's never been this bad", quotes pulled up by Roeder and scrutinised, fans claiming they're not going, others just expecting to be thumped

That doesn't get unnoticed, mainly because journalists will act on general feeling when questioning as well as hear say. Players know too

Despite all that, they came out against the current top team in this devision and pulled that out

That's the manager we have here, not the second season balls up merchant that many love to jump on. We had a manager that pulled that result out. Same as we narrowly lost to teams before last night, meaning we aren't getting tonked

Players like Clingan Wes and Bell are good signings, as is Stefanovic, as well as his signings from last season.

The loans are clearly helpful, all that rubbish about a team with no character, and don't care

Chin up saturday guys, and it's not the end of the world if we draw, it's a point
