Yep...

...his biggest problem was his inexperience as a manager and promotion simply over-awed him - he panicked and got rid of those that were unlikely to play rather than keep them on whereas you can afford to carry players in the Premiership with the riches it brings (or thinking along those lines perhaps was asked to move them on by the board to save more cash?).

I'm not sure he had much of a plan after relegation, releasing a couple that suprised a lot and his signings were similar to those that would have possibly worked to get us promoted that first time. Problem was we'd already gone up and developed as a side. We played some pretty stuff in the Premiership and it would have been good to have seen us add to the side and try to play the way out of the division.

I definitely think he stayed on too long - given the season we had after relegation he probably should have gone that summer having given it a year, but it's hard to let go of a job you're enjoying I suppose.
