You're right to raise it again and the obvious answer is that they were quite wrong to let him go although I blame Roeder and not the Board. I can't see how the answer can be anything else because (a) we haven't found a left-sided replacement capable of his ability and (b) the old chestnut about his wages being too high is quite clearly rubbish because Siberski's wages must be at least the same and I suspect far more. The release of Hucks (and those who supported it) was a short-sighted decision based on personality and not ability and it's coming back to haunt Roeder big time. I for one have no sympathy with Roeder and if he continues to cock-up as at present it may well contribute to him losing his job. It was a stupid decision to let the one player who still had real ability walk away especially as his loyalty was beyond question. All these idiots who roll out the 'he's gone get over it' line won't fell quite so smug if we get relegated.
