why do people like roeder?

I genuinely don't understand. He is imo he arrogant , his previous record shows he hasnt' achieved anything of note, he is wasting so much money on these loan players who have no real pride in playing for our shirt. He obviously has problems to do with his self confidence and being thrrteatened by others , otherwise wouldn't have got rid of the whole of the back room staff, and players with xchartacter like Spillane and huckerby. Can someone who can see positives from him please explain what they are.
