I have no doubt that in a few weeks time he will bring Shackell (once of course he has recovered from the mumps eh nigel not because you have dropped him and are now looking for an excuse) back in having suddenly noticed that our two central defenders have been giving away too many free kicks around the box due to their embarrassingly crude attepts at tackling and diving in.

If a new midfielder is not brought in then i think you have to wonder where the hell all the money has gone this summer given we have made a nearly ?2 million profit on transfers.
